I also enjoy the different variety of workouts which keeps it interesting (of course I like some workouts more than others) but I generally enjoy the classes and earning splat points motivates me to keep going to earn more.Posted on Google Elizabeth MakhTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Bad customer service, establishment is not properly managed. Safety issues concerning arriving 60 seconds late is ridiculous, as a fellow professional this isn’t the place You want to go to. Employees not friendly and not inviting experience Been going to gyms my whole life never had experience like this. Feel terrible for the owner of this establishment. They own Howard beach also and I hear better reviews there. Plz fix your policies or you won’t be around much longer. Losing clients is there main priority. No loyalty unfortunately. Go to YE training!!! No other place out there like these. You will get shredded and fit. These workouts you provide unfortunately just not worth the money. Rather pay for some results elsewhere. Bad call on my end but my cancellation is in effectPosted on Google Elizabeth MakhTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Honestly disgusting staff, one minute late and doesn’t let you in is disgustingly. Got babysitter and everything and wasting time with idiot staff that can’t let you in 1 minute late. Can’t talk to manager because she’s remote, can’t talk to owner. Parking in this neighborhood is impossible. Besides the point ran here and can’t get in lmao this isn’t policy academy. This business is poorly run and thy rather lose a client then to let me in one minute late. This isn’t the first Time I’m hearing bad reviews about forest Hills location, I guess I should have listened to them, rather than signing up …. Dispute in progress.Posted on Google Rohani SharmaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. After six months of coming here, I wanted to share an honest review. The front desk staff is incredibly welcoming and lovely, particularly the team on duty for the 6 PM classes. Additionally, I’ve had a wonderful experience with the following trainers - Nancy, Tariq, and Kyle!Posted on Google Bridget WingTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I always loved Orangetheory until my recent experience with Nancy. I was called out twice because I was not doing the dynamic warm up “exactly” how it was on the screen. I was modifying the movements, doing some of them, and warming up at my own pace. I pay for this class. If I want to modify some warm ups, I shouldn’t be pointed out twice. I understand that the role of the instructor is to keep everyone accountable and on task, but this was excessive for a warm up. I am not going to pay to be annoyed.Posted on Google michelle. jara tobing0. houseTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great place to get your workout done!Posted on Google Mia STrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Love the trainers, the workouts and the front desk associate! However, at the conclusion of a class, the other members or people who come to workout do not wipe down the treadmills. I see them walk away without cleaning. I think the trainer should remind them to wipe. It’s not sanitary. I wish we could also go in a few minutes early to wipe down our machines before using them.Posted on Google Hannah OngTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’m a Forest Hills resident and feel fortunate to have an Orangetheory close to me. I’ve taken classes with Kyle (!!!), JemmaLynn, Alex, and Tariq, all of whom are so friendly, encouraging, and make the workouts genuinely fun! The playlists are great, and I especially appreciate the strength classes since working out alone at a gym can often feel isolating. I have also done Orangetheory in other states and other parts of New York and always had a great time. The only reason I’m taking one star off is due to a recent experience in Nancy’s class. It was my first time taking her class and I found her approach not only unfriendly but also critical. I had modified a couple of exercises based on what I’d learned in personal training, but she told me it was incorrect and asked me to redo the entire set — twice. She also commented that doing the workout incorrectly was “akin to not working out at all,” which felt unnecessarily harsh. Further, she didn’t do the usual demo at the start of the floor block that other instructors usually do, so I had to rely on the screen and my personal experience with those exercises. The interaction left me uncomfortable enough that I ended up leaving the class 20 minutes in. I care about working out with proper form, so when I came home, I asked my husband (who powerlifts regularly) to look at the movements, and he affirmed that how I worked out in class was not unsafe. That said, one unpleasant experience won’t deter me from returning. This studio overall has wonderful coaches and a great community. I’ve reached out to the studio regarding the incident and hope that they act on this feedback. I would like to also receive a class credit so I can use that to work with instructors who foster respect and positive rapport rather than a hostile environment.
